Day 1 of the Local Project

Hey guys,

So as you guys know I've been doing a local project in and around London, currently I'm working in South East London, to be specific Crystal Palace.  And I want the "small" people in the Fashion industry to have a lot more coverage and media presenting them, whether they are new designers, shop owners or young people trying to make their break in the industry.  I'm currently liasing with a shop owner of a clothing agency on Westow Hill, Fabrice who has been in the fashion industry for over 30 years.  What he does is he takes designer, premium and some highstreet clothes off of normal everyday people (some will have been worn some might not have been worn).  He then sells the clothes for a much more affordable price and also the owner of the clothes will get a cut in profits too!  So it's basically a win win...... win situation haha.

So yesterday I went to Fabrice's store and focused on the fur coats he was selling in the shop.  All of these fur coats are real fur however they are all vintage or classical some are even from around the 1940's.

So ladies and gents, I will actually be starting a personal project with a good friend of mine in the fashion industry, Fabrice pretty soon!  There will be weekly blog posts on this project however, as for now I am not telling you what the project is about. JUST THINK FASHION.  This will be the first Fashion series on my blog and I promise, you will enjoy!! Et pourquoi pas?  I will be collaborating and helping out my amazing French Ami Fabrice with numerous things to do with Fashion, retailing and YES, THERE WILL BE DESIGNER LABELS INVOLVED!  Not only that but Youtube videos will be up also showing you the behind the scenes of what we do!!

First Blog post "Episode 1" Will be up on the blog this Wednesday, following a youtube video on the Thursday.

Heya everyone!
So today I managed to get an Invite from the Marketing executive of LFW to come in for free just because of all the work I do on my blog!  So I went with a friend to the Somerset house annual event, and really, it was amazing!  We had champagne, walked on cobble stones, and wanted to buy everything!!  There were established designers and there were also up and coming designers.  Garments and accessories had sold from £5 to over £1000.  Not only that but there was an up and coming singer songwriter there performing on behalf of Levi Jeans which was amazing she was so talented.  Anyway, I'm going to let you guys see the rest of the time we had through the picture that I've taken, please leave comments or questions and check out my Youtube video on my channel about the London fashion week saga. ;)
