London Fashion Week: The Designers and my Favourite Designer.

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

So as we all know London Fashion week is fast approaching
And you fashion junkies are dying to hear about what’s happening!  So in that case, I wanted to share with all you DibaBots my favorite designer for London Fashion week this year!  The new up and coming season for SS14 will be home to some of Britain's most famous and glamorous designers from Nicole Farhi to Julien Macdonald.  However, my chosen designer is Maria Grachvogel, her designs are timeless and glamorous and always relate back to a sense of female empowerment, something I encourage all my female bloggers to strive towards.  Her continuous shows at Somerset House for London Fashion Week and her range of clients from Angelina Jolie to Scarlett Johanson, shows how prestigious a designer she really is.

Grachvogels, SS14 collection is absolutely stunning with fluid designs in the construction of the garments, complementing the female figure; inevitably adding a sense of empowerment.  Colour schemes that are used are beautiful, gentle and warm, reflecting the spring season superbly.  Her use of pattern and textiles on her garments and designs are outstanding with gorgeous complementing colours and beautifully constructed dresses that flatter the collar bones of the model whilst at the same time making the model look classy and sublime.  The lines and cuts to her garments is definitely, where the secret lie - They sculpt the female body with such ease and beauty adding to the power behind the woman.

Designs can range from being simplistic and minimalist, creating a fresh outlook to her runway, to being very constructed and bursting with pattern and colour creating a vivid atmosphere for the viewer.  Hair and Make up on the models vastly complement Grachvogel's catwalk, make up is kept simple and minimal with short bursts of colour on the lips.

Overall, her designs are sexy, sleek and slender and are absolutely breath taking to look at down the runway, as well as being timeless they also contain a sense of modern day or 21st century woman.

What I love most is the gentle beauty yet subtle sexiness of Grachvogels SS14 collection.  Her pieces are a breath of fresh air to look at, due to the naturalistic elements, classicality and clean lines.  Her allure and elegance whilst designing, creates a truly exquisite and handsome collection.  Grachvogels pieces are modest yet vocal, which is a truly empowering and classy way for a woman to be.
