Get ready with me!

Heya guys so this post is basically a get dressed with me/ootd for today. So I originally started off with some basics. Now basic pieces of clothing are so important if you want to learn how to develop you're own style. When I first started getting interest in fashion I was the biggest fashion faux pas walking around. I couldn't get my colours right, I couldn't get patterns right and only once in a blue moon would I ever get my dress sense in point. So what I started to do is start off with basic pieces if clothing and also basic colours, which meant I bought a lot of blacks, whites and grey a few beige-y colours too and I bought many many many tshirts, vests, leggings, blouses, tights etc all in those colours too.  After I built up my basic collection of clothing that's when I could start to venture out a little more and build up my whole wardrobe.  It's like anything in life, you lay down the foundations first before jumping in head over heals.

So today I started off with a plain and simple black vest which is very long (just the way I like it, you may prefer different) and this best is from H&M which I would recommend to anyone looking to build up their basic wardrobe, H&M and Primark are brilliant for basic clothing. I threw on a white blouse/shirt from Primark and then plain black leggings from Zara. (Black happens to be my favourite colour haha.

Once the basic pieces were on, I then slipped on some ankle boots that have quite a high heel on them a gold plaite necklace chain and my sun hat as the weather it quite warm in England and very got in London.  This is where I began to build on my look and turn it into a casual day look that is still very fashionable and stylish. This look is also great for those of you who prefer to 'play it safe' and remember there is nothing wrong with playing it safe. If you're not exactly ready to wear certain things that are outside your comfort zone you don't have to!  It's up to you when and where you decide. Anyway, this was a very brief post of how to build up your wardrobe however I am thinking to do a more in depth one! So let me know if this was helpful and I will do another post specifically specialising in how to build your wardrobe. Remember you can check out on Instagram: cescadiba_fashionblog or tweet me at @officialcesca as I would love to here your ideas! Cesca x
